Last post for the night (and maybe someone else will post report) RAW only has the same problem along with JPEG FINE only. However, RAW only out of 25, 16 RAWS were affected where 6 images were captured 16 times. In JPEG FINE only mode out of 28 images only 1 was duplicated. Test method: Format card in camera, camera already in 'A' mode in single shot and click away not really allowing the auto review (set at 2 seconds) to appear and generally never more than 2 seconds between shots. After I capture 20 or so images just directly plug the camera into the computer via USB and download. I didn't turn off the camera or change modes anytime during this. Do I have a lemon or does anyone else's NEX-5n do this as well? As this seems to be a fairly serious issue unless mine is unique in this problem. EDIT: FOUND THE PROBLEM but not a full solution. The issue seems to be between the NEX-5n and Windows 7 64-bit (what I'm running). Plugging the NEX-5n via USB to the computer directly is not an effective way to download the images as somewhere in the process the files downloaded are not what is on the SD card. I just placed the same photo's into a card reader and downloaded them and viola! They're all there, without any duplicates. So just as a warning to those of you who see this problem and are connecting your camera to the computer... use a card reader to solve it.
